Training Opportunities

Infant and Toddler Program (0 - 3 years)

The Infant and Toddler Program prepares adults to work with children from birth to three years of age. Classes meet for the Summer Academic phase at the Montessori Educational Centers, Inc., with access to its Infant and Toddler environments. This unique feature of the program provides optimum learning experiences for each student. The program has two phases, which include academic preparation and a supervised internship

Early Childhood Program (2 1/2 - 6 years)

The Primary Program prepares adults to educate children from 2-1/2 to 6 years of age in an environment within the Montessori philosophy Students meet for the Summer Academic Phase for eight weeks at the Montessori Educational Centers, Inc. During the school year workshops are offered. The program has two phases, which include academic preparation and a supervised practicum phase or internship.

Elementary I Program (6 - 9 Years)

The Elementary I Program prepares adults to work with students from 6-9 years of age. Classes meet for the Academic Phase at the Kopecky Montessori Elementary School and Millard Montclair Public Montessori School. This program consists of an eight week summer academic session and one week the following summer session.

Elementary I-II Program (6 - 12 Years)

The Elementary I-II Program prepares adults to work with students from six years to twelve years of age. Classes meet for the Academic Phase at the Kopecky Montessori Elementary School and Millard Montclair Elementary School. This program consists of a six week summer academic session and practicum phase or internship.

Masters Program

AMS Certification with a Masters Degree option through on-line courses provided by the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
