Early Childhood

"The work of the child consists of creating the human being that it has become. The adult works to improve his environment while the child works to improve himself."
Dr. Maria Montessori

The Early Childhood Program prepares adults to educate children from 2-1/2 to 6 years of age. The program has two phases; Academic preparation and a supervised Practicum. Classes meet for seven weeks with scheduled fall and spring seminars to complete the Academic Phase at the Montessori Institute with access to its Early Childhood environments. This unique feature of the program provides optimal learning experiences for each student.
